Picture
Week 6 will be FULL of activities that explore different cultures, different tastes and different languages! Both Eagles and Falcons will be expanding their knowledge on the world and people around us, especially with the help of our International Children's Leaders who hail from across the pond in England.  

The Eagles will have an overnight on Thursday night at Ryan's Ridge, which is a 15 minute hike from Silver Bay's southern Trail Head.

Week 5 was a big week for the Teen Center! The Falcons had a magnificent 3 days camping at Rogers Rock and really had a great bonding, once in a lifetime experience. It is always so nice to see those teens turns off their ipods, and instead gather around the fire roasting marshmellows!

The Eagles had a great week, despite the chilly and rainy days! They made many crazy, silly competitions---which made for some great Kodak Moments! 


 
For Week 5 please wear old, or stained clothes because there will be the potential of getting very messy and sloppy!
FALCONS:

Turn your caps around- Its Backwards Week!

Roger's Rock is a three day overnight that we have been doing for several years. The Falcons will canoe from Hague Beach to Roger's Rock Campsite. There they will have a Picnic Table Pavilion to hang out and enjoy the wilderness. There will be Team Building Activities,  Swimming, Hiking, and plenty of eating around the Camp Fire! Campers sleep in tents and have a Minivan. The Camp Director and Assistant Camp Directors will be replenishing supplies throughout the trip!  It is a great experience so please come!

Week 4 was Rivalry week here at Camp and it was one of our best yet! We split the Falcons and Eagles up into two groups: Teen Center 1 and Teen Center 2! Teen Center 2 did many competition between the Green, Red and Blue teams and they kept score throughout the week, but of course, "Its always a tie at the Y!" . Our competitions included Creating Your Own Camp Game, Cook-Offs, Creating Catapults, Dodgeball, Pirates vs Ninjas and challenging Obstacle Course! The Eagles had an overnight in the Boathouse due to the threat of Thunderstorms, and really enjoyed playing Dodgeball at the Gym! The Falcons used their Day Trip to go to Lake George Village and play Around the World Mini Go
 
Camp has been a lot of fun in the Teen Center! We are approaching the half way mark and are very happy with how things have been going. Falcons, our small but very creative group, have implemented many new games and activities that the Teen Center has never played before! They are big fans of card games, man hunts, and making short films.  Our Eagle group is the largest we've had in several years, with our roster reaching 56! The Eagles have enjoyed archery, boating, four square, kickball, whiffleball, basketball and many more!
Put on your competition faces Eagles, its Rivalry Week! On Monday, you will form your team and will meet your rivals through crazy competitions. Complete a Climbing Wall Waiver for Wednesday, sneakers for the Hike Thursday, and bathing suits for Friday! Who will be the stronger team? You'll have to show up to the Friday Finale Obstacle Course to find out!!

Falcons: 
On Guard! Pick up your sword and join the Falcons in a series of competitions for Rivalry Week! On Monday, create your own camp game! Tuesday is Pirates vs. Ninjas day, followed by Mini Golf Day Trip on Wednesday (look for permission slips!) Thursday is Boys vs Girls Day and the week ends with an epic game of Dodgeball!
